‘To be the outstanding service provider in the UK, making a positive difference to people’s lives’
Our Vision

Our Values

Radis Community Care shares a set of Values that are common across the whole of the Radis Group.  These Values reflect the views of our staff and were created with their valued input.

We will promote and protect these Values in pursuit of our Group Vision.

We expect ourselves and our colleagues, everywhere in our organisation, to behave in a way that is consistent with these Values.

Professionalism

We will take pride in our conduct, protect confidentiality, present a positive impression of ourselves and our organisation. We will present ourselves and our workplaces in the best possible manner.

I try to deliver training with the utmost professionalism at all times. I like to lead by example by being on time, treating everybody with respect and making sure that I am up to date with my own training.”

Barbara StarrTraining Officer

Ownership

We will take personal responsibility for all our actions and omissions. We will encourage feedback and share in the good and the bad, we will act in the best interests of our organisation.

I think it's a really important part of working for a professional, open and honest organisation that we take responsibility for our own actions. I want my colleagues to know that they can rely on me to perform my job to the best of my abilities and I personally enjoy working for an organisation that encourages me to be accountable for my actions as it gives me opportunities to learn and grow within my role."

Social Responsibility

We will remember we are part of a vibrant local community. We will act in a manner that respects our community and our environment, and we will encourage behaviour that gives back to the communities we support.

I can see Radis as a part of the community where it is not only seen as a care provider but as a part of the community working together for growth and development.”

Integrity

We will act openly, honestly and deliver what we promise. We will promote loyalty and trust in ourselves and our colleagues.

Here at Radis one of our values is ‘integrity’. This is really important to me as I truly believe that success without integrity means nothing and it is so important that we work honestly and with transparency in all we do. Given our staff live in people's homes, they need to be able to trust us and feel confident that they are in safe and honest hands. We should never fear being honest - we are human and make mistakes. It's about being honest about the mistakes and learning from them to continuously improve ourselves and the service we provide."

Jay SymonsNational Live-in Services Manager

Teamwork

We will recognise that we do not act alone. We will work together with all stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

We are all one team, working together to make sure we can provide the best service for our clients. We all support and help each other - not just my fellow care workers, but the people working in the office and management too."

Chaz ThomasCare Worker

Innovation

We will encourage ideas for continuous improvement in everything we do. We will feel encouraged to share our ideas.

As times are so competitive within the social care service, I feel that innovation within our teams can lead the way for futures of ourselves , the company and also the care sector as a whole.”

Valuing People

We will show respect to others, we will promote inclusiveness, tolerance and diversity. We will encourage learning and development in ourselves and others.

Without the dedication and hard work of our staff, we could not do the amazing work that we do. It is so important that we retain our staff, each of them bring unique abilities, strengths and perspectives to the business. We lead, mentor and motivate them to grow and develop in their roles and let them know how much we value and appreciate their hard work and what a positive difference they make to the lives of the individuals we support.”

Dot FisherNational Supported Living Manager

Excellence

We will be passionately committed to be the best we can be in all that we do. We will pursue this even if no-one is around to see us achieve it.

Excellence to me is one of the most important Radis values, as it is so important to me to give clients and their families the best possible support at a time when they are feeling most vulnerable. Right from when I make my first contact with them, I make sure that they can feel confident and secure in me and the quality of support that we will provide.”
